PUMA has revealed a bold, high-energy schedule of activity in London ahead of marathon weekend, as the brand establishes itself as London’s Energy Source and celebrates your journey to the start line.
Open from midday on Friday 24th April, PUMA will take over the prestigious Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) located steps from the Marathon finish line, transforming the venue into The NITRO™ Lab – a vibrant performance hub for London’s run community.
The NITRO™ Lab sits at the intersection of performance, creativity and culture, will showcase PUMA’s best-in-class running products and future innovations, offer consumers the chance to curate customised kit, or take part in speed challenges for money-can’t-buy prizes.
As the excitement builds for Sunday’s race, PUMA will also host a series of community shake-out runs, including one on Saturday morning in collaboration with the brand’s newly signed global hybrid athlete, Lucy Davis.
“We’re bringing the energy to London on race weekend like never before,” said Lucy Davis. “PUMA is changing the game in running and I can’t think of a better place to kickoff our exciting new partnership than at the biggest marathon in the world.”
On Sunday afternoon, PUMA will keep marathon finishers fueled with free post-race pizza and beer for any runner over the age of 18 with a finishers medal (terms and conditions apply). There will also be a live tattoo artist offering free flash tattoos – truly making this a race to remember.
In addition to The NITRO™ Lab, PUMA will also be bringing the energy to the PUMA London Flagship, providing finishers with free medal engraving throughout Sunday afternoon, Monday and Tuesday.
