This season, PUMA reintroduces the Speedcat Ballet, a style sitting at the crossroads of sport and style, continuing to build on PUMA’s energy in the low- profile sneaker space. Graceful yet fuelled by the world of motorsports, the silhouette is defined by its open forefoot, elastic strap closure, and ultra-low profile shape that mirrors the poise of a ballet flat.
The latest Speedcat Ballet arrives in a new range of colorways. Deep navy offers a subtle motorsport feel, while a high-gloss silver option leans more futuristic. Soft blush adds a lighter touch, alongside understated, classic black.
Placing the Speedcat within a range of composed scenes, the campaign nods to the silhouette’s ballet roots, but also showcases the effortless look of the Speedcat, mixing preppy, sporty, and art-school aesthetics through the imagery.
Originally introduced in 1999 as a fireproof shoe for Formula 1 drivers, the Speedcat was engineered for precision. Its low-profile construction delivered exceptional pedal feel, making it a favorite among drivers seeking every possible competitive advantage. Today, those performance sensibilities are translated into a silhouette designed not for the asphalt, but for the city, where elegance and speed move in step.
The PUMA Speedcat Ballet is available starting April 1, 2026, from PUMA.com, PUMA flagship stores, and selected PUMA stockists.
